Topics like these have taken off on other forums so I figured I would post one here and get a consensus on what everybody's musical tastes are like.
Personally, I listen to almost everything but prefer music from the '70s and '80s, mostly '80s music as I was born in '86 and hence, am too young to remember any of the hit songs from that era. Listening to them makes me feel like I'm connecting with the decade I'm from but don't remember. Example, I'm listening to Richard Marx's 1988 hit 'Endless Summer Nights' right now which is your stereotypical 1980s love song.
As for radio, my presets for the Santa Fe at home include country, classic rock, alternative, rap, contemporary, pop, and hard rock. My CD and iTunes collection is packed with less-than-mainstream older songs along with many hits.
So tell us...what do you listen to?

QUOTE (Pinto_Siftbean @ May 20 2009, 03:47 AM) being a former radio guy,, I listen to everything. One of the main reasons I keep Sirius active is the variety. Rock, Alternative, oldies, country and even classical! With kids in the vehicle it's 20 on 20 And that's what I hated about being a former Radio Guy myself. Loving all the great Music, and playing the CARPENTERS (IMG: style_emoticons/default/w00t.gif)

Nickelback, 3 Doors Down, 3 Days Grace, Theory of a Deadman, Creed.
They all stink.
Nobody mentioned them but I thought I'd point it out.

QUOTE (MiamiLX @ Jun 12 2009, 05:41 PM) Good choice (IMG: style_emoticons/default/thumbsup.gif) , but isn't that like saying yes & Jon Anderson?

Number of downloads: 0Or, the Eagles & Don Henley? Maybe, Alice in Chains & Jerry Cantrell. (IMG: style_emoticons/default/thumbsup.gif) I run the gambit from Sarah Brightman to Slayer. Depends on my mood.
