I recently replaced one of the burned out tail lights. Then all of a sudden the interior dashboard lights, lighting on my shifter and brake lights do not light up unless I brake.

Explanations anyone?

the most likely cause is that you have fitted the wrong type of bulb or you have not fitted in the bulb holder right. rear light bulbs are either single or double fillament make sure you fitted the right one

What this sounds like to me that you brake bulb in one of you tail lights (a two filament bulb) has fused the filaments together. I might not look blown, but none the less, to test it, remove one brake bulb and see if your problem still occurs. Try removing the bulb on the other side if the problem still exists. Then replace the problem bulb and be done. Otherwise, you're problem exists somewhere within you brake light/park light circuit.

Cheers,

Josh.
