the only way to extract the code is to use a scanner, you will need to take it to your dealer or other repair shop that has one. if the engine is running o/k then l doubt if it is anything major or anything to worry about.
BTW welcome to the forums (IMG:

Hello and thank you for the welcome =)
I drove to a repair shop where they checked for free with a scanner. But where can I get information on what the error codes stands for?
If my memory is correct the code was p0401 and p0504. But what does it stand for?
The car is running great but still I want to fix the problem to prevent future catastrophes.
Tomorrow I will change air filter, fuel filter, oil and oilfilter since this has not been done in a while.
Cheers
