HI there, soon my husband and I gonna move to Tulsa, OK. I am driving a Hyundai Terracan and would not like to abondon it. Is anybody out there who can help me out to know if I can take my car into the states? It is a Terracan CRDi and build for the european market (spain). I heard that it is easier to get the car importet if this model is already on the american market. So, how strong it the Terracan market in the USA? would love to hear that there would be no problems to take my car with me.

Importing a non U.S. spec'd car into the U.S. can be tricky... Below is a website that gives good information on how to start, and where to turn to for all of the DOT and EPA requirements.

Regarding the Terracan market in the U.S.? We do not have the Terracans here... I wish we did, and I especially wish we had them with the the CRDi motor that you have!

I just got back from a family visit in Germany last month, and while I was there, I noticed how popular the Terracans were! That and the Tucson were the most often Hyundai's I saw there!
