Hello everyone. When driving tonight, I had my wipers on because it
was raining, while on the freeway, the wipers went down and they
just stopped wiping the window. We heard the wiper motor running, but
they weren't moving. What could be a possible cause?

I had a similar problem with my getz when it was new, all it took to fix it was to tighten the nuts holding on the wiper arm, these are under the plastic cover at the base of the wiper.

Hope this helps

The joint at the motor may have popped out. If this has happened then the mechanism needs replaced as it'll keep jumping out from wear.
