G'day
i have a 1990 model excel and i kinda had a bit of a crash and now i have no 4th, reverse and only sometimes second gears.
what could of happened and wat can i do to fix it??

You may have moved the engine/gearbox in relation to the gearstick assembly. It is common in front wheel drive cars to have cables or linkages between the stick assy and the gearbox. If you've broken an engine mount or bent something this length would change. The broken part will need replacing and the cable/linkage lengths checked. Probably have to put the car in the air on a hoist and have a good look around. Pay attention to the front lower mount as these break all the time.
