Hi we have a 2007 Tucson CRDi Manual 2l Diesel. It has 6 gears. Recently when travelling on the motorway in 6th gear for some time, we have encountered a problem when you come to a stop after this speed. Okay scenario, driving at 120kph for approximately 60kms, take our exit, slow down or come to complete stop at top of exit ramp and when you try to go in to a lower gear the gear stick wont budge. You have to shove it into gear and this carries on for at least 10- 15 mins after. Now if we just go on a short journey never going above 8kph or getting into 6th we dont have this problem. Any ideas?? (IMG:style_emoticons/default/auto.gif)

I have had my 6 speed diesel tucson for two years and it has never experienced a problem as yours has- I would suggest that you take it into the dealer to repair under warranty- possibly clutch not operating properly or gear slides/cables need attention.
Don't delay take in asap.

Cheers
