 95 Accent Manual Window Removal And Stereo Harness, question

i have a 95 hyundai accent i recently bought and the system is really bad so i wntd to put in speakers and a jvc cd player in it but the window crank wont come off and i dont know what the colors mean some one help!

I don't have a window crank handle (being electric) but I've heard that what you need to do is pull the handle out slightly and look behind it. There should be a "U" shaped pin around it - apparently you just pull that off and the handle should come off ok.

As for the wiring - the stereo should come with a standard adaptor which has all the wiring in it - and the car side should have a plug to fit it. If it doesn't (the car) - then it sounds like someone has wired the previous stereo in manually. In that case you'll need to figure out which are the spaeker cables and which are the power, arial and arial connections. The Hyundai webtech site should have wiring diagram info on there. I'm afraid that without being able to see the wiring - I can't help you much.

he's right for an easier way to get the handle off go to the parts store and ask for a window handle removal tool they are no more than $5. And if the wires were not tampered with the harness is only around $8 easier and cleaner.
