Hello I have a 06 Hyundai Tucson (Gas and it’s a manual) when I push the clutch pedal in it clicks about half way down, you can feel it in your foot and it only does this with the car is running if you shut the car down it does not do it. Any thoughts on what this could be?

Hi Meso and welcome to these forums from here in the UK, it's nice to know that at least there are a few US citizens who use a manual gearbox.

I found this site recently when someone with an i30 had a problem and it may also help you to determine what the problem may be so that you can give the dealer a heads up as there are not that many who don't have blinkers on looking at so many auto's (IMG:style_emoticons/default/smile.gif)

FOUND THIS ON THE INTERNET and it is quite useful really
http://www.exedy.co.uk/index.php?main_page...eshooting_guide

Go to the page above and look at the red boxes- covers, discs, bearings, good fittings and various. click on one say covers (like I did) and you will see various things that happen with a faulty clutch cover and why- I think maybe you will be able to see whats wrong and then tell the dealer to use this site as a guide if his mechanics are not trained properly on how to find and solve clutch problems. !!!!

I hope this helps you-

Itza.
