Drives: 97 hyundai excel 1.5
just recently our 97 excel started making a rather loud ticking sound from the engine. i did an oil change thinking it was that, but it seems to be coming from where the injectors are not the engine cover. has anyone else had this problem or does anyone know a solution. thanx

Sounds like a noisy injector. Quit common on all car types. My Ford has a couple at the moment. You could get an exchange set of injectors which have been cleaned, flowed and have new pintle caps/filters. They cost a bit less than new ones and are supplied with new o-rings. Just remember to depressurise your fuel rail before doing the job.
