Drives: 1999 Hyundai excel twin cam



Hi all ..my daughter has a 99 excel/accent twin cam ..due to lack of oil pressure the motor was shut down by the computer..i have since rebuilt the engine but am told i now need to get the computer reset to be able to start the car ..any info or help would be greatly appreciated

I see no reason for a reset, even if the car has an immobilyzer.

:57: i guess if u disconnect the baterie about 5 minutes the ECU resets, if u connect the ECU and the car doesn't have a problem, the computer, suposse that read that are no porblems in the cars, if u repaired the engine :thumbsup:

someone correct me if i'm wrong :thumbsup:
