Anyone else having amplifier issues with the 13 speaker 660watt Infinity system? Brand new and the front door, front center and rear center (by dvd system) have never worked. I told the dealer it needs a new amp. I even told them it's a JBL amp under driver's seat. What do they do? Order a new dash unit. Duh ... if the system works, minus select speakers, then it's the amp. I wasn't happy, so the dealer ordered the right part ... or did they. Another 40 mile trip and I find out they didn't order the right amplifier. Then they were supposed to overnight it and it still hasn't shown up.

I have a JBL system in my Prius and it has always performed great. Harmon International owns JBL, Harmon Kardon and Infinity, so any system branded as one of these could have any of these brands as components. Is this JBL amp just a poor design and doomed to fail? I suppose the totally lousy service and lack of common sense with the techs have tainted my opinion, but if I had it to do again, I would not buy a Hyundai. Just can't get competent service. The next dealer for service would be an 80 mile round trip. Service trips with nothing actually being accomplished cost about 10 bucks in gas and at least two hours each time just to find out they screwed up. No compensation for it either. Arghhhh!!
