hi all,

im new to this forum and a new i30 owner (IMG:style_emoticons/default/thumbsup.gif)

sorry im starting on a negative but have a couple of problems with my i30 (has anyone else...please let me know)

1) filling up with petrol is a very slow process and i can not put the whole nozzle in because the pump handle just keeps clicking (IMG:style_emoticons/default/dry.gif)
2) have had to put my car in for a repair (its only 4 months old) the seat belt warning lights flash intermittenly, awaiting diagnostics on that

other than those 2 faults i am very happy with the car, its stylish, comfortable economical, and lush in vivid blue (IMG:style_emoticons/default/cool.gif)

thanks for reading and happy safe driving (IMG:style_emoticons/default/thumbsup.gif)

Hi mary88 and welcome to the world of the i30.

I have the same problem as you when filling up.

I've found that by placing the nozzle just into the filler neck, turn slightly so the diesel flows down the neck and just a light squeeze on the trigger does the trick.

Had mine for 18 months and no other probs.

PS there is a dedicated i30 forum site which is worth joining.
It's an oz site but plently of Brits and other on it.

Just reached 500 members in less than year
