Well, as some of you know, i have bought coilovers from KFXperformance.com/ca
(although im sorry for not having put any pics up....)

I just wanted to discuss this with you 3GEN accent owners...

I purchased the coilovers for $1600 (including shipping) received all the parts except the adjustable tool....
I received the coilovers in november/octoberish and still havent receieved my tool. i have e-mailed and e-mailed and received statements such as we will get it to you, sorry, blah blah blah. and i recently sent an e-mail to KFX and he HASNT RESPONDED to my recent e-mail. ALL im tryna say is if a customer pays for a $1600 part i EXPECT to get all of it. im just warning you owners cuz i know this isnt the first time KFX MESSED UP..

Edit: KFX canada = NOT bill

I emailed the company that makes these:

- SS-5

Feature of SS-5

Adjustable height, Adjustable preload

Consumers´ price : 1,270,000 Won (about $ 815)

- SS-5 FP

Feature of SS-5 FP

Including Feature of SS-5

Added Front Pillow ball upper mount

Consumers´ price : 1,430,000 Won (about $ 918)

- SS-6

Feature of SS-6

Including Feature of SS-5

Adjustable Damping Force (15way)

Consumers´ price : 1,380,000 Won (about $ 886)

- SS-6 FP

Feature of SS-6 FP

Including Feature of SS-6

Added Front Pillow ball upper mount

Consumers´ price : 1,540,000 Won (about $ 990)

In case of sales to oversea, the price depens on current exchange rate. (1 $ = 1,557 Won, Mar 9. 2009)

And delivery fee would be charged.

Roughly the cost of send coilover to US is $120.

Thank you

I'm trying to be fair
As far as I know he there is someone else in Canada that does. If you look at the canada site it's another contact name. If he does own both and we can confirm this then I'd change it back.

I will say he doesn't take my PM's and right how he has about $600 worth of my money so i hope my parts are sent out soon

I asked him in a text msg on his phone how to pay for turbo and got no response.

The problem is not with us on this. KFX Canada and KFX USA are the same company, we felt that the issue of shipping and everything else could be corrected. We have contacted SMA no less than a dozen times on the adjustable wrench and they have said they would send out the item and they have not, unfortunately we are at their mercy. I do not have a wrench and SMA has not sent you or me one of their wrenchs, believe me we have tried.

Contact me at bhurlin@kfxperformance.com and I will see what we might be able to do, I need pictures and dimensions of where the wrench needs to fit.

The price on the coilover is the same as what they charge. The retail price is $1200. They do give us a discount and that is how we are able to make any money on this. The price of $200 for shipping is more accurate. The issue is that SMA will only use a courier such as UPS or Fedex.. Both of those companies charge an additional $200 for brokerage fees even though there is not a need as no duties or tarriffs are charged In the USA.

I have actually paid over $1600 to get a set from them.

I do have another company that will make coilovers for me. They now make pieces for 5 of our cars, but not the new accent or rio. These will sell for $900 shipped to your door. The issue is that I need 10 orders to make this happen and I honestly do not think there are 10 customers who want this or are willing to wait 4 to 5 months for the product.

If you are interested, please let me know
