Ok so i posted this on the elantra forum but no one has replied. So i figured coming over here since a guy in korea did this swap and just had to change the mounts a little.

What I'm wanting to do is swap my Elantra motor with a Tuscan v6 engine. or a Tib. I was wondering if this is possible? or if there is a kit i can look at or what i can do.

Please give your input I am mediocre with my Hyundai. but there are some things you will have to explain.

Can't say I have ever heard of this one most of us with the 4x4 Tucson still have the existing vehicle and are fairly happy with them -Only problems encountered by the 2,7 litre owners seems to be the way the unit sucks up fuel but possibly putting this unit into a smaller vehicle may improve consumption figures.

Sorry I am no teccy you will have to await a reply from a teccy type.

yeah i latter after this post I went to youtube and it's called a tuscani swap. Which in the UK is the same as the Tib in the US. So can someone help me out with this? If anyone has anything to say about putting a V6 into an Elantra. I need some advice. I want to race my GT here soon.

i was getting confused there for a second.. i thought you wanted to swap the anemic V6 Tucson engine into your Elantra... Tiburon makes more sense.. but I still can't help with it, sorry...
