hi where is the location of an oil sendind unit on my engine?

think its a 1.5L engine. I dont think there was different sized engines for this year anyway?

how do I tell the engine size in the first place also?

Anyway whats happening is after say driving about 100Km when i come to a stop the check engine light comes on. i give it some gas and it goes off. So i drove it back home. Same distance and when come to a stop the Check engine light doesnt come on again. Even after leaving it running at idle it didnt come back on.

So first thing I want to do is change the oil Sending unit, Or am I thinking it should be called oil sensor unit?

If this doesnt fix the issue then I will have to replace the oil pump.

So please some help thanks.

So its called an Oil pressure switch? Your right about the location found a website that shows location.
I think its about time for an oil change anyway. But also if this oil pressure switch is starting to fail. Could it be my problem?

Also when changing this Oil presure Switch what do i need to do that? Is it just unscrew the old one and screw in new one? Or do i need sealing stuff around the threads? I cant find info online on how to change this Oil Pressure Switch

the oil switch could be your problem, yes it just unscrews, no need for any sealant, be careful you do not over tighted the new switch or you may break the oil filter housing where it screws into (its only soft metal alloy)
