I know how to make the sound come through the wireless headphones, but how do you make the dvd player sound through the speakers? I have the 08 limited in Canada. Any help?

Hi,

The player broadcasts in FM so you can pick it up on your car stereo.
You can configure on the player setup, but try in around the 88.something range.
Once you get it use a preset button for convenience.
Shouldn't be hard to find.

Another tip is to buy cheap FM radios if you need extra headphones.
My daughter's MP3 player has a built in FM radio and she just uses that.

Assuming you have the Infinity system, there should be a CD/AUX button right above the volume control on the radio. The AUX option will route the rear seat entertainment (RSE), or as we call it, DVD sound through the speakers. It sounds quite nice this way. Of course, my 08 limited stereo came broken, so I have no rear center (on ceiling by DVD player), front center, or front door speakers working, but from the back, it sounded great. Hyundai is replacing the stero in the dash and the big JBL amp under the driver's seat. The stero says Infinity, but Infinity, JBL and Harmon Kardon are all owned by Harmon International, so they oftem mix/match components of these names and call it all one thing. In this case, Infinity.

I just bought a 2007 Entourage Limited yesterday and one of the only problems I was having was getting the DVD sound to play through the sound system.

It appears from the 2 responses that there may be different ways of doing this but using the AUX button worked for me.

The Entourage didn't come with wireless headphones and I don't think the DVD remote is working even after a battery replacement. Can anyone suggest good replacements?

Also, I was interested in being able to use an FM receiver to pick up the sound. Does this only work for systems without the AUX button? Do all of the systems broadcast over the FM band? I may need the remote to be able to get to the menu to set the broadcast frequency.
