how many miles per liter ?????????

get a can of WYNN's engine flush, add it to the engine oil, run engine at +-1500 rpm for 20 minutes, then doe oil & filter change. This will clean the engine interior, remove carbon build up from the piston rings (so that they can open again, and block the oil from entering the combustion chamber), and clean the hydraulic lifters.

Drives: Modified (180 b.h.p.) `95 Hyundai S-Coupe Turbo SE ....Sadly now sold & replaced with an `04 Alfa Romeo 156 2-litre Veloce! :-http://aol.photobox.co.uk/album/thumbnails.html?c_album=7089276&page=all

Hi!.......what Duke suggests is correct, try this first & use Castrol High Mileage 15W/40 oil.......also replace the PCV valve (on the back of the rocker cover).

If this doesn`t reduce your oil consumption, you may get lucky & find new valve stem seals does the trick. Failing that, it`s new piston rings!.

Forget about turbocharging a normally aspirated 1.5 SOHC Alpha motor with 84K miles.......you`ll blow it to pieces!.
The Scoupe Turbo`s engine has many internal modifications to enable it to cope with forced induction from the factory, yet your motor is far from new!.

Nick.
