ok so some friends gave me a 94 excel that has a problem or two... i know i need to put new brakes on and a few other minor things but i was driving it home and when its rpms are low it sounds like its misfiring but it goes away as i accelerate... does anyone know what this is and if so is it sumthing to worry about

hey mate i would try adjusting the distributer. all you do is loosen the bolt/s, then start the car. and then just advance it till it sounds right in other words turn it a little till it starts reving a little bit higher. hope that helps

depending on setup your correct but some like mine have a crank angle sensor and no dissy
