Hi all,

Since May 2008 I am the proud owner of i30 1.6i Style version.
Recently regularly the car alarm sounds, whereas there is nothing wrong.
The car dealer thinks that this has to do with contact failure on the cap, doors or trunk. He can only guess not say exactly.

Does someone have experience with this and how has this been solved?

I've not had a problem with the alarm but if you go to this site:

Click forum and click on search, ask your problem and you might get some advice.
From memory I've not seen this asked before.

If it doesn't bring back hits, register and put in your question. I'm sure you will get a response.

Well in my book I would say there was something wrong.
