hey melly sounds like to me with the fan not working well it would probobly be a switch in behind.. its common for them to go, I own a '06 santa fe I have already had two switches replaces under warrenty one for the fan speed and the other just last week for the fan position.. and as for the temp guage could be a sensor or a thermostat or a coolant flush and some fresh coolant is needed maybe? good luck :-)
