I feel your pain man. Silver is the ideal color for winter weather. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/grin.gif)

They don't use salt here (thank goodness) but they do use volcanic gravel which makes the roads dirty as **** once the snow melts. It takes about three weeks for the roads to rinse themselves clean after the snow melts.

Volcanic gravel? That stuff is incredibly abrasive, how does it not destroy the paint from road spray?

The 12 step wash at the carwash. This Upscale (in a rich area) carwash has everything! Great Cleaning products too!

It's a do-it-yourself stall. Goes from pre wash to soap wash to brush wash, to underneath spray, to engine treatment, brake cleaner, rinse, wax rinse, wax final spot free rinse. I average $12 CAD per wash, which is equivalent of going to a drive through car wash and getting the best wash.

Automatic car washers give me the shivers i would personally much rather hand wash it myself but thats just me and yeah if i can i wash it by hand in the winter if not just a power wash like twice a week.

But yours def came out nice and clean cant shake a stick at that!

The weather here has been complete crap here since the start of the month and I haven't given my car a good cleaning because of it since late October. My mom just had shoulder surgery and isn't driving so when I go out, I use her Lexus RX300. I washed the Santy yesterday, scrubbed the gunk from the manufacture of my new tires and put a nice coat of dressing on them. New tires + dressing = Cats meow. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/grin.gif) I was able to drive the car a little bit yesterday evening when the roads were dry but it started raining around midnight and has continued through today so the Santy's just been sitting in the garage, looking pretty.
