Hey all,

Where do I get this faceplate (or they call it center facia) for NAV unit to be integrated?

Please refer to the picture, I marked it with red box. If anyone got it, how much did you pay for the faceplate? If I get the factory Nav, is it plug-and-play or do I need to do anything? I have Infinity 6CD changer with NO RES and VC is 08 model.

I saw a pic of the factory unit and they seemed to have different connectors. I think mine has 24pin and 8pin connector.

Is there anyone who installed aftermarket Nav unit like Pioneer, Kenwood..etc? How difficult is it to install it yourself?

I like the factory unit but it doesn't have bluetooth and backup cam built in.

Anyway it all starts with faceplate so if anyone got it in the US, where and how much did you pay for it?

Thanks in advance

I am looking for this too. I went to a technician who installs these kind of kits. He too searched on the internet buy could not find the dash kit anywhere.

If anyone comes across this, please reply to this thread

hello

jsut like i was in a dilemma to either buy the fully loaded VC or buy a level down and get my own NAVI installed ... so after countless of hours looking thru forums and obscure Korean websites ( mind you i am not Korean ) i came across this ... it just might help

http://www.yelew.com/en/product.asp?action...amp;product=669

let me know if someone buys it and gets it fitted...as for me now will not be getting a fully loaded model... will put in my own unit with a compatible reversing camera.

Has anyone installed aftermarket DIN/DDIN option, like GPS/backup camera, to their Veracruz? I am considering upgrading our '08 GLS with in-dash nav but don't like the factory option and would rather go third party. I am apprehensive about ordering from the Korean site without some assurance I'm not wasting my money. All the local shops can't seem to help and the few resources I have found online are dubious at best.

Thanks and regards,
Cory

The VC dash kits are starting to come out. Here's an ebay seller for this Metra kit.
