Hi there, I'm new around these parts. :)

I just bought a (new to me) '03 Tuscani about two weeks ago after drooling over the darn things for years. Well, there are a few small modifications I wanted to do to it (and a large one or two) and I was curious what the good sites around are.

I came across Shark Racing early in my search and they seem to have a lot of what I'm looking for. One part in particular I'd like to order in the next few days actually. Anyway, my question is: Is SharkRacing a good company to buy from? Why or why not?

I checked with the Better Business Bureau and there seems to have been a few issues with unresponsiveness from the staff at SharkRacing. I was wondering what your thoughts and opinions are? Also I noticed their order form doesn't appear to be secure. Is it, and I'm just missing something, or should I just move on and find a different site?

Thanks in advance!

Arkon

Hi!......there were issues with the American arm of Shark Racing; I believe they now trade under a different name & Shark Racing is run by it`s original founders in Korea.

K-Spec is another excellent & dependable supplier of aftermarket parts for Hyundais.

Closer to home, another reliable supplier is the shop on here :-

Cheers,

Thanks for the quick reply. All great sites, and I'm sure I'll be ordering some parts from kspec shortly. :)

Unfortunately, it would appear that only SharkRacing has the part I've been looking for. Or, if not, they're they only one I've come across thus far. It's their set of LED Gills for the 03-05 Tiburon.

You said that they're now back under their original ownership in Korea. Do you think they're dependable enough to order these parts from, or should I keep searching?

Order from the Korean website & you`ll have no problems......it was only the U.S. warehouse which got a bad reputation!.

Woo! :w00t: Thanks for your help. This is the first time I've ever modded any of my vehicles (besides getting Katzkin leather or some really nice aftermarket paint/powdercoating/chrome), so I just want to be sure I don't get ripped off.

Can't wait for these things to come in, and I'm pretty excited that they're legal here (so long as they're amber or red lights).

Thanks again for your help. I'm sure I'll be checking in from time to time with questions about my favorite car.

Now, then... To go figure out what other bits o' kit I want in this thing. Chrome is always good on/in a black vehicle... Hmm... :wink2:
