Haven't been to the shack in a while, but did send you some of my sub graphs a while back. Yep... been a member since my first Hyundai back in 06. You need to come on back over and visit with us more often at the Shack. I am just beginning my second dedicated home theater myself. ************ Okay.... so who do we actually call to complain to? Do we have a number that would be best?

QUOTE (Sonnie Parker @ Feb 21 2009, 09:22 AM) They said it was normal back in 06 with those models... but they ended up not knowing what they were talking about. It is anything but normal. I test drove a ford fusion yesterday just for fun and while it had less power, a little bit noisier and an interior that I did not care for, it shifted up/down smoothly and the suspension was miles better than the Sonata. With the Sonata over bumps it feels harder and louder, but what I do not understand that it is not a road hugging sporty suspension either. It's like it is springy and hard at the same time (IMG: style_emoticons/default/sad.gif) and louder.

QUOTE (mamamia @ Apr 3 2009, 04:25 PM) Something doesn't make sense here..... They found a fix for the infamous K-Thunk which was affecting all V6 Sonatas from the '06 and early '07 models (no complaints from late '07 or the '08 owners) ---- and then they go back to the same CRAP with the '09? Mine was manufactured in May 2006 but model year 2007. Am I correct to think it falls into the early 2007 and they should replace the strut assys? I bring the TSB to my technical adviser and he's far from sure it will fix the problem. They did replace struts on other car and the customers still complain. Any other experience that may contradict what is telling me? This is really driving me nuts! Cheers to all Charles

What you described below was exactly the same problem I had with my Genesis - hard and springy at the same time - horribly so. Traded it in for a Mercury Milan (Ford Fusion) - and yes, the suspension is miles better than either the Genesis or the Sonata.
