As a separate topic on my newly acquired Grandeur 3.0, it rides extremely harshly. (admittedly, I have just stepped out of a Citroen, but it's still too harsh for a Grandeur).

It's done 164,000 km. Has 2 brand new 215/60 tyres on the front and 2 half worn Pirelli P6000 on the rear. Same size. 32psi pressure.

The ride, compared to the other Grandeur I tested, is abysmal. It's harsh and I can feel every bump. The other one was soft and supple and well insulated. (and much dearer). Why would there be such a difference? These cars have a reputation for having a fairly good ride.

Any clues here?
