Hi,

Just bought my mate silver indicator bulbs for his gen 1 coupe. It has the clear outer lenses on the indicators but with orange 'caps' insie the unit which sit over the bulbs (!) How do i remove these orange caps so the silver bulbs will show through please?
Tried searching the forum but with no success!

Hey Charlie & welcome!.

This takes a bit of patience!......
Remove the indicators & break up the amber covers using long-nose pliers, then using tweezers & something like a needle file, `fish` the pieces out.

Clear indicator repeaters from the Hyundai Matrix are a popular swap ......you can get a pair cheaply from a Dealership.....tie the wires outside the wing before cutting; if they fall inside you are well & truly ****ed!.
