I purchased three of the touch up pens and they are certainly the worst concept our Asian friends have come up with yet.

Has anyone found a better idea?

depending on your color, I've found close enough colors from Honda or GM. They still have the brush style....or there is always a wide range of colors in nail polish LOL :)

I'm not a fan of them either. The old style brush ones are much better for delicate tiny touch ups.

There are some aftermarket options that claim to match the color if you give them the factory color code listed on the door jam label.

I noticed when i use it it comes out well. but after a few days it seems to attract dirt then looks like crap. I used it on a big area this past month and it came out nice look at the pix, but now looks horrible!

You MUST clearcoat after the base coat. Allow about 2 hours between coats.

Yes I have. Take back the other two Pens for Credit. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/thumbsup.gif) I have received two (2) FREE Paint pen coupons from Hyundai

(not the Dealer) since my first Pen purchase. One Coupon came in mid 2006, and one came just a couple Months back.

It would be nice if a sample Pen came with each new Hyundai. But they want you to buy at least one to fully experience how

they work. I did a terrible touch up job on my side mirror and then had the Clearcoat side drip all over the Mirror (IMG:style_emoticons/default/w00t.gif) .

The Hyundai Paint pen is alright, but nothing great. I used it and tried to put on the paint on a rock chip, it looked like a mess! Then I waited for 2 days to put on the clearcoat and when I did, It washed away the color!! Give me a break!!!! (IMG:style_emoticons/default/evil.gif)
