So my 2001 Elantra GLS with power windows works on the driver side BUT the switch is kinda messed up. It feels like the spring is not working right in the switch.
Should I just replace the whole console or get into it and move some switch springs around?

the switch is a factory sealed unit so you will need to replace it whole

I did see a way to open it BUT have not tried it yet. Need to try and see how it goes.

Most like pics so here you go
Used a small flat edge skew driver
pry each part off and take your time.
There are two rods. One for the front two windows one for the back
Push each off.

NOTE!!!!!!!! There is a small bebe like thing at the top of the spring. Take your time when removing the switch and hold it down while moving the rod out.

I tried to superglue the busted one but did not last. Should try something else that works with plastic.
Drivers back window does work but not as well as it did before the move.
Drivers front window not auto any more BUT works better then it did.
