The other day, I installed my rear view camera. I forgot to take pictures of it. And I also forgot to take pictures of the finished product of my car. Lol. I guess I will get up and take pictures. Here are some pictures.

The box is turned the other way, towards the seats. Just decided to add that.

And, in the fourth picture, that is the mic of the bluetooth.

I see. This stereo comes with navigation, USB, MP3, AM/FM tuner, DVD player. I have the optional rear camera and bluetooth. I have every option now, but the XM radio. Which I do not want at all.

Dalwin, Thanks for the PM response. Just a few more questions if you don't mind.

1. Does this unit fit our cars without altering the screw holes (mounting)? According to Crutchfield, this unit will NOT fit our cars, even the CS rep says it will not work. Any cutting or adding new holes required?

2. How did the wiring harness connect, re-wire? harness available? adaptor? difficulty?

3. Is it a single disc player?

4. Do you know anything about adding Sirius/XM? antenna placement? Difficulty?

5. Is it an all-in-one-unit, meaning does all the navi stuff come contained in the head unit itself? Antenna placement?

6. How does the unit know when you are in reverse, (rearview camera) do you have to press buttons or que it?

I have an 07 SE with the optional 6 cd player (sun/sound pkg) and am completely on board with ordering this but don't want the install to be too difficult or require a lot of plastic pulling (been there done that with the rear speaker install). I don't care about the Bluetooth function.

I HATE like a mofo for other people to put their hands on my car and my electronics install knowledge is limited. I'd love to have the i-Pod input and the built in Sirius functions to get rid of the crappy equipment I am now using that sound horrid.

Thanks and sorry to drill you for so much info, just wanna make sure I'm brave enough to tackle the install. Your work looks great.

[COLOR=blue] most times when you install these, u put the power to camera from the reverse lights, toss into reverse, camera comes on.. my old work van, i ran constant power to camera from over head light, could watch road while i drove! but my camera unit was wireless stand alone, did not run off head unit...

1. It was installed a while back. But, I do not think alternate hole where to be made. And in so, just very easy, minor ones.

2.Oh the wiring! Haha. My father did that. It was quite difficult. We had to do it from scratch. It took a long while to put everything together the first time. But, once you got it down, you knwo everything about it.

3.Yes. It is single.

4. I do not know about the XM/ Sirius. I would suppose it is easy.

5. Yup. The navigation comes with it. You can place the antenna anywhere you would like. I placed it on my dash all the way to the right above my dash on the corner. The only thing it does not come with is Bluetooth, rear camera, and satellite radio.

6. Well, we had to take off one the back lights out. We had to the rear camera wire all the way to the rear light. So, once the rear light is activated the screen automatically switches to the rear camera. And also, there is a button you can push. Lol. I drive around sometimes like that.

If you are worried about installation why don't you take it somewhere? And, there are a lot of instructions that come with it. Why do you not want the bluetooth? It works amazing.
