Hi all,

I own a hyundai accent Apr 2007 model in India. This model is known as Accent GLE out here which is the 2nd generation accent.
My car has come with Bridgestone tyres which have the following ratings
tyre model - S322
tyre rating - 175/70 R 13

Since ABS is not available, it is sometimes difficult to stop the car at higher speeds owning to its peppy engine.. so after reading many websites, I have thought of upgrading my car stock rims and stock tyres to better alloy wheels and tyres.

I want to upsize the tyres to R15's fromeither michelin or bridgestone.
Can someone please suggest on what kind of alloys and tyres should i get fixed on my accent for better grip and stability?
I would requet all the senior members to help me out with these bits.
thanks.

i heard you can go with 15's with a low profile tire which has less roll , thats what im going to get on my 04 accent . you just have to find a rim manufacturer with the same lug bore as the accents .

hope this helps :)

205/50r15 will fit nicely. 7 inch rim width, they wont rub either
i had 205/45r16 on mine with no issues.

I know it's a tad late, and I hope you haven't bought any new wheels yet, cos I wanted to let you know something.

I have a full set of 17s on my 2G accent, with low profile tyres. No rubbing either, can full lock with zero issues.

Having said that though I drive a 4 door saloon, but when I did a "what wheels fit my car?" search, it didn't matter which accent option I used on teh site, the same wheels came up regardless.

The site I used was www.wolfrace.com to pick up my set of 17" triads, which look awesome on my car btw. Now, on to the next stage of sanding down my car and respraying it. Plus ordering the bodykit, spraying it, sorting the interior out...
