HI, I have been a happy owner of a 08 Veracruz limited for half a year.

One day, I suddenly realized that the sunroof doesn't seem to want to open all the way. The reason I'm not 100% sure it's broken is that I do not remember how far it could slide back when I bought it.

Now, the sun shade and the glass don't go back the same amount. When the glass is all the way back, I can still slide the sun shade about 2 inches more.

Is this the design or I need to see my dealer?

Please take a look at your sunroof and let me know how far can yours slide back.

Thanks

hoo

No the sunroof does not slide all the way back. It stops at about 3 inches more or less until it would be all the way flush. I believe it is designed that way.

Thanks for the reply,
Before this veracruz, I had a Santa Fe. I believe that the sunroof of the santa fe can slide to the point where the sunshade does not move. That is about 2 inches more backward.
