My 2008 Veracruz is less than one year old. But paint on the driver door sill edge is already showing signs of scratches. Does any one know if this is covered under the warrantee. If not, what is the best thing short of repainting the whole door sill? Also I need the the paint color number. The sill color is not the same as the body, it is rather the color of the bumper and low body trim.

Not covered under your warranty. This is considered wear and tear.

Any body there knows the paint color number of the bumper and lower body trim for 2008 Veracruz? It is not the same as the body, it is dark silver color.

Your VIN number would be needed to find the paint code.

I don't think the silver part is not painted, but rather a solid color material. I scratched the door sill on a rock and the same color shows in the scratch.

The lower exterior trim IS painted. You can look on the build plate at the bottom of the driver's side B-pillar. It will tell you the interior and exterior color codes. If it only tells you one code for the exterior, then your VIN will be needed to translate that into the upper and lower colors.
