I have a 2003 Hyundai Tiburon and one of the multitude of problems I have had with it is the speedometer. This started about two weeks ago, but while im going say 70mph, it will suddenly shoot down to 0mph, then back to 70mph a few secs later... Then back down to 0mph, etc. The RPM gages seem to be off now too. Any suggestions on how to fix this or how much the fix will be? I have had so many problems with this car, im trying to fix one thing at a time.

That would be the speed sensor that controls the speedometer. I'm going to assume it's an automatic, in which case the part would be about $73 from your Hyundai dealer. If it's not an automatic it will be cheaper. Easy fix.

Its a 6-speed manual. Will that make a difference or just make it cheaper? Thank you!!
