I messed my Instrument Cluster up doing the LED mod. Several things happend and I don't know why. First the turn signal lights no longer work and yes I did solder them correctly. 2nd: When putting the little glass screen back in you need to make sure it is the right way. I was in a hurry do to family stuff around here and my screen cracked.

It's a plate of glass and shows how many miles are on the car ect.

I can't get the 1 part from the dealership I have to order a new Instrument Cluster.

Cost from the parts guy: $500 - $700 :crying: :crying: :crying:

FIRE MISSION: (I did trust me no one around here has em)

Please call your local junk yard and ask if they have a 2007 Accent GLS and that you need an Instrument Cluster for one. Also ask if they have a 2007 Kia Rio (basicly the same car)

I really really really really really need a new but cheaper than $500 Instrument Cluster :(

Ebay has them all the time. I bought one from ebay last month so that I can have the
LEDs replaced without being without a cluster. Of course I bought one for my GS, but
I have seen them for the GLS too.

like i said in the DIY the most important thing is patient, you cant do it if you are in a hurry, the first time did it i did it in a hurry and bad happens like my gas needle not working, because i put too much pressure, the front plastic have crack on the side, my gas smd leds not working at the moment......so like i said on the TOOLS needed LOTS OF PATIENCE.
sorry to see that happend to you but hey theres always a first time, next time will be diff because now you know more than before, at least on what to do and what not to to do.
