Here are some videos of Sonata going 240 km/h in the first video and second video it shows 0-230 km/h. Is there any way to take the car to a higher top speed like 260? The reason Im asking is because people seem to max out 4th gear and at 5th gear there is just not enough power to overcome drag :/ What do you guys think?

More power or better aerodynamics.

LMAO!!!!

In the little "related video" section is this:
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=2_VvCbrKnp0&NR=1
A guy trying to get a 2006 GT mustang to go 240kph.
300 horsepower and he HAD TO GO DOWNHILL!!!

Aerodynamics are easy. Tape off the hood and door seams with duct tape, run narrower tires, and possibly block off the grill opening.
Simple mods that will usually clean the front end of the car up slightly.

The american education system fails again.

I'm pretty sure your speedo has imperial and metric on it.

You betcha.
What can I say, I find it unfortunate that so many americans seem deprived of some of the learning that others take for granted.

More like the Canuck education system can't detect when someone's being a smart-****.

On the other hand, not only did I not really know exactly what 240 KMH translates to (but I figured it had to be somewhat north of 90 MPH), but, even better, I don't have to know.

And our cars don't ding at us when we exceed a certain speed, eh.

Yeah, right. Along the same lines as getting an owners manual or directions in six other languages - senseless, because we don't use them.

Nor do ours... that video was shot in be Korea, Japan or some middle eastern country, or possibly somewhere in europe.

ahh okay ... yeah I guess you guys are seeing metric more and more interspersed in various things ? In all likelihood another government, (probably Democrat), will try to switch you guys to metric again some day.
