Just had my new Genesis with Tech Package modified so the DVD will play while driving. It can only be done by a company called Nav-TV who just created a new circuit bord and software made specifically for the Genesis !!

This is too cool !!

How do you order that? And is it easy to install?

It must be done by an approved Nav-TV dealer, contact Nav- TV for a dealer in your area.

I'd check out if it's the same anti play setup that 98% of the DVD players use. The connect a wire to the emergancy brake and if yoru brake isn't on that it doesn't play DVDs. All you need to do is attach this wire to a constant ground and add in a switch. That way if a cop stops you and tests the DVD it won't play with the emergancy brake off (Good news since it is illegall in most places to have it play otherwise.) But you you wish for it to play, just flick the switch on than off and preto, DVD.

It is not a wire like all the other units out there. It is all fiber-optic and infact you do not cut or ground anything. You need to contact NAV-TV and they will tell you where to go in your area to have a new software module added to the car so it will work. The Genesis has 19 computers in it and they all communicate with each other so you can not do this yourself.

Nav-TV used my car to create their new product for the Genesis, right now I am the only one in the country who has it installed !!

Spoke with Bob today Nav-TV. It is plug and play and can be ordered direct from Nav-TV goggle to get number. Cost $400 US it is plug and play and you can do it. You must remove the radio unit and put this ad on into the radio harness. Not worth $400 to me. Hope this helps some .

Good work !

Once you have it you will love it ! It's like having a cell phone and then having someone take it away from you, you really do miss it !

Spend the money !!
