Hi - is it possible to put E85 (85% ethanol, 15% gas) without doing any mod. in Santa Fe (Hyundai 'mobiles in general)... pros and cons?

ABSOLUTELY NOT. Do not put E85 in any Hyundai vehicle, it will damage the seals in the fuel system and void your warranty. Hyundai has issued a bulletin about this. The highest concentration of Ethanol you can put in a Hyundai is 10%.

No, no, no...ethanol is a bunch of B.S. anyway.

I recall somebody did this a few years back and it caused eventual engine failure.

Basically...

Pros - Telling people that you run clean on E85.

Cons - Telling people that you can't run on anything since you blew your engine.

Don't do it.
