Another PE Sonata question....All the I have read regarding the 07 Platinum Edition is that it is essentially a limited with a special color scheme and badge package with spoiler. So I am surprised to see when running carfax reports and autocheck, it comes up as:

2007 HYUNDAI SONATA
SE/LIMITED

Makes me wonder if the PE is actually an SE regarding suspension, but with limited trim package. I believe the SE is the only stock Sonata to come with spoiler as does the PE. Does anyone know the specifics. Platinum Edition owners have any info. Thanks CJ

The Platinum IS a Limited with a special color scheme and badge package with spoiler, as you say.

I don't think it is an SE. It says "Limited" on the back of my car. It's definitely just a Limited. SE doesn't have auto climate and the upgraded speaker system.

I've noticed that CarFax doesn't distinguish between the Limited or SE on the reports. It just lists both based on the VIN #.
