Ms Sonata,

Welcome to the fast-growing list of Genesis droolers. LOL! I've seen the car in person too. Too many times for my own good if you ask me.

In Canada, I believe the base V6 model starts at $37,995. So you're looking at about $45K on the road less any haggling you can do on the price or taxes saved due to a trade-in.

seen one on the lot yesterday--to tell you truth , i my opinion , i would sooner have a loaded 09 sonata---43000 here in canada for the 6 cylinder genesis-looks nice--just not 43000 nice and i agree--in 2 years you will get one for 20000--

it's a beautiful machine but I wouldn't get one - it has too much engine which consequently means not good enough mileage for me.

Pass. Still unattractive, and still probably unexciting to drive.

I liked the drive of the old Mazda 6. I'm sure the new one is pretty decent now that it has enough HP! 220 prior...that's just bad.

I do like the Genesis coupe. When those come out - then I'll be mopping up the floor.

When a nice car makes a gal moist, she's my kind of gal! At the risk of sounding sexist, not many ladies appreciate a nice car. Some appriciate the price and presteige, but not the finer points of the car itself.

If I needed a car right now, I SWEAR I would buy a Genesis. Unfortunately, my 2006 Sonata is in like-new condition. The end is not even in sight. I guess that's not really a bad thing.

The Genesis is the Hyundai to buy.

The residual value after three years is 50% of purchase.

The leather dash, 14 second quarter, 14 speaker Lexicon stereo, exterior that is refreshingly subtle, and the acoustic laminated glass make this Hyundai @ $32,250.00 a screaming buy.

I, too, am waiting for the V8 coupe, and I won't be drooling but slobering at the dealership. And if I hang around too long I'll probably have to go home and change my drawers. A rear wheel drive 2 door go faster. I can hardly wait

i want to kick his a$s!! :P

then they got another one on the lot and a few days later IT was gone as well. so there are two around town now.
