Does the taillight in that cluster come on with the parking/head lights?

If not you've probably got a bad ground. Make sure you've got the right bulb, too. It's an 1157 which is easily confused with an 1156. The 1157 has two filaments (one brake, one running) and the 1156 has only one (it's for use in turn signals the like).

Let us know how you make out and good luck.

Hey thanks! I actually had the 1157 at first, but my hubby was helping me :innocent: and took out the wrong bulb (which was an 1156) so I returned it and got the 1156. Finally realized we had the wrong light and figured it out. doh!

Its fixed! Yeah!

appreciate your help :liebe011:

Not a problem. I've done it myself so I know it's an easy mistake to make.
