Why did they say a con is no nav system when you can purchase one.
Is it not available in Canada?
I have that car same BTW color wise, except with navigation....

So this past Sunday's Chicago Tribune's automotive section is listing its 2009 best buys.

"The economy is in the dumper, jobs and mortgages are in jeopardy, and there's doubt about how many automakers will survive.
What better time to look at what the industry does best, as in best buys among the vehicles on sale now? High mileage and low price were factors, but room, comfort, looks, ride, handling, performance and fun figured more heavily into our choices:"

Interestingly enough, neither Camry, nor the Accord are there... The Sonata is. Genesis too....

2009 Hyundai Sonata
Engine: 2.4-liter 4-cylinder; 3.3-liter V-6
M.P.G.: 22 city/32 highway; 19/29
Base price: $19,395; $23,145

"It's solid and not cheap. Can't fault the philosophy of loading the cars with standard equipment, such as stability control with traction control to ensure the car makes sure-footed contact with the road, while keeping prices under control to emphasize value. Owners asked for a little more spirit as well as for a little more fun, and both engines were tweaked to develop more power and better mileage with less racket."

I wonder if they ever made Traction control standard in Canada. As I remember they get the Running Lights

Electric Pedals, Heated Glass too, but no Traction & Stability control, without an extra charge (IMG:style_emoticons/default/thumbsup.gif)

The reviewer gives a glowing review. It is a good car, but far from glowing.

Going back to the OP's post, spending a few minutes in that site, apparently the '09 Sonata is A WINNER... Actually DA ONLY WINNER among her peers.... Check this link:

Look, I did not say it is not a good car despite its flaws (irrespective of whether I like it or not). However, I do not think it is a class leader. Great value for the money, yes, but it cannot be a class leader unless they fix some of the well known issues in this model.

Please look at the pictures in the article. Picture 5 shows the figure-8 cupholder. What kind of beverage is that? It looks like giant can of snuff. It it some kinda Canadian-only drink? Perspiring minds wanna know!
