Drives: 2002 Hyundai Sonata 2.4
The check engine light on my sonata was on when i bought it from an auction last weekend so i pulled the code. It read P0715 which is listed as transmission input speed sensor malfunction. Sometimes my car will drive normally but the light will still be on. Othertimes the transmission locks into 2nd or 3rd gear, it stays in 3rd driving automatic but when I put it in sports mode I can switch between 2nd and 3rd but not any lower or higher. Any possible fixes or ideas of what's going wrong? I already tried resetting the connector for the input speed sensor.
