Don't know about the IAT but the temp' sensor should be just under the thermostat according to the web manual. The web manual also lists how to test.

Cheers.

Unfortuneately it does only list the 1.5 but I presume most of the information from the 1.5 SOHV will apply to the 1.3. I've looked on my 1.3 & the coolant sensor is def' just beneath the thermstat housing.

IAT sensor is just after the air filter box. It is connected by a plug and wires. Its not difficate to identify it. If there's nothing after the airbox, that mean your is using a MAP sensor which the IAT is built into the Intake Manifold as well as a Pressure sensor. So, go take a look to see which is yours? :)

I think all U.K. Accents have MAF sensors before the throttle body & the IAT sensor in the airbox.

Webtech, Hyundai`s online Workshop Manual is detailed & linked-to in the fixed post at the top of this Accent Forum........do bear in mind that it`s American & some U.S. models are slightly different, as stated above.

Cheers,
Nick. :)
