QUOTE(MsSonataLuvr @ Sep 15 2008, 08:59 AM) what did that run you? I never did get my peeling front bumper fixed and now its covering most of the front bumper. Last time I went to the dealer ( a few months ago) they quoted me $300-350 to have it repainted and clear coat put on.
I didn't have it done, and a couple weeks after I got the quote, one of my neighbors was kind enough to back into my car hard enough to crack the front bumper quite severely. Since then, I've just given up on keeping the nose looking pretty until I can park it in the garage. :) The last thing I need is to get the respray done and have someone else back into it a couple days later.

QUOTE(idiom @ Sep 18 2008, 03:19 PM) Here is cheap one for $41: http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/HYUNDAI-Son...40699QQtcZphotoMe thinks I'll try it  Save your money. A good buddy made the mistake of trying these no-name kits and I was there to witness it. It barely stretches and is really difficult to wrap around edges/creases. Besides, the material is not as thick or pliable as the name brands. I would imagine if a stone hit it, the impact would still be transmitted to the paint.
