Has anyone replaced their brake and turn signals using LEDs? I've a hard time finding ones that are as bright(preferably brighter:)) as the OEM incandescent lamps.

Right now I've already LED-ed all interior lights and I'm moving on to see what can be done for the brake lights which seem to suck up quite a lot of juice.

Those 60M-SMT at V-leds.com look like they might do the job, but they are horribly expensive and I wonder if anyone has tried them?

Also, I've some difficulty removing the cover to access the reversing lights. Is there any trick to it?

Hi there!... I didn't want to open a new topic. I am studying to install LED's on the Elantra but there are a couple of things I am not sure, hope someone can throw some light on them.

1. Is the Elantra turn signal flasher capable of handling led's to allow them to blink at normal speed?
2. After installing tail/brake LED, a burnt bulb light will show on the instrument cluster (I dont know if this Elantra is loaded with this feature really)
3. Do your Elantra front turn signal turn ON when you switch you light ON and blink when activated? I know it sound weird, but in my Elantra the turn signal has only one filament, so it is of all the time OFF and only lit ON when the turn signal lever is moved either right or left.

check this web: www.superbrightleds.com not as expensive as V-leds
