Gooing back to dealer in a couple weeks with a really short list of items (all minor) to fiddle with on the new SE...turns out there IS a aftermarket mirror upgrade, and apparently SOME dealers have the connection and are willing to install it...the one Im getting turns day/nite automatically, compass, and outside temp...installed, $365...theres another with a HOMELINK garage opener, for more $$ of course, but I have more than enough remotes..anybody heard of this or have one??

Yeah you can buy those for any car for about that price... My old Ford Explorer rear view mirror was loose and I looked at that mirror but changed my mind because it was 365 bucks... any aftermarket installer should do it too, you might wanna call around to see about prices first, just a thought

I have the Homelink mirror and really enjoy the convenience of it. Simple to program.. now if I only had something for the other 2 buttons to do!

http://www.sportsimportsltd.com/nigvisrearvi.html

here is one with a compass and temperature gauge for only 177 bucks... but it mentions something about not being able to replace the mount on a Hyundai... so I dunno?
