Very Cool, Will put on hold the plan to hack into the XM wires as done by other here.

I'll keep an eye out for this and let everyone know when it is at a retailer if someone doesn't beat me to it.

After reading this, I'm little confused. The demostration appeared to be showing how to control a Infinity radio for an ipod, but what about the folks who don't have the Infinity? Does it work for the standard radio too? Also, didn't see anything about the interface itself or how to configure or install. Did I miss something here?

Guess we'll find out when merchants get it in stock in about 6-8 weeks .... I have been told it will work on all generations of ipod as well.

Most likely it will work on units that have a CD changer input, like many of the other adapters.

It looks like it runs off the xm interface on the stock head unit.

Radio must have an “XM” button on it to be compatible
Not compatible with navigation radios
Radios that have an internal Sat tuner are not compatible

Where does it say anything about not working if you have the factory XM tuner?

Besides, I'd gladly give up XM for an iPod direct connect!

just to add some relevant information...

the 2009 model is going to have ipod/aux

the stock system is going to be upgraded, but the limitted infinity system looks to maybe being the same.. this document says the ports are going to be located at the front console

http://74.125.45.104/search?q=cache:Eyuhhn...clnk&cd=6&gl=us

so those of us with limitteds might be able to get the 09 factory components to work

On the 09's there is an ipod input and usb port. It is located in between the switches for the heated seats (on the non limited models I was looking at).
