hi friends,

I have XG30, year 2000, 3L model. the car is bit wobbly when i speed to 40 - 60Km/h. after 70km/h is ok. what will be wrong? please help

what do you mean by 'a bit wobbly'? do you mean the engine, steering, vibration or what? you need to give more details

car vibrate,
tyres are good. we check tracking and balanceing too. only on speed between 40kmh to 60kmh its vibrate.

anything to do with boshers or mount? don't know.

in spite of the fact that you have had your wheels balanced l think that this is still the nost likely cause. l suggest you have your wheels balanced again at a different place

Dear Montego,

i need anther help from you. my car has some sort of memory lost. which mean when i set clock, stereo, air conditioner and if i switch off the car and switch on again it will go to factory settings.

so it want stay in memory. why is that? any idea?

was it ECU problem? or anything......?

regading vibration i think engine is missing. not very smoth. what do you think?

if the engine is miss-firing it maybe down to the plugs, wires (H.T. leads) or coil packs, it's very hard to say without looking at the car. but you have said that the vibration only happens between 40-60 kph, if it was the engine miss-firing it would vibrate all the time

thanks for your help. after redone balancing and tracking the car vibration is gone.

but on the raff road steering make bit vibration noice. what could be that?

wobbling is still there. after done all the wheel balancing, tracking and also suspension bushes (lower arm & upper arm bushes) and checked shocks too.

Wobbling happens when start speeding 40km upwards. My mechanic thinks, it could be drive shaft not line up properly or gearbox.

Very uncomfortable when speeding the car. Its vibrate car badly. Please help to solve it.
