its been runnin low on here for modifications..its been a lot of ppl speculating on doing something...WHICH ISNT BAD...but i know a lot of us want to see stuff done hahaha

so ill start and ya'll follow with things we can easily do to get whatever out of our cars performance or comfort wise

well im workin on doing up my headlights like the Audi R8's daytime running lights..(the string of LED's) and once i find a bulk LED supplier ill get to it

also im trying to source out someone to make an underdrive pulley set for our cars

and another thing i plan on getting started on soon is a rear diffuser (the blades under the back of the car that channel air under the car to reduce turbulence :)

now its your turn :)

I plan on making a airdam/splitter combo and diffuser for my car to but figure it would be useless until later on. But look forward to a thread on that. I took another route intake wise. My opinion is that the intake modification attracts alot of heated air, so i am gonna gut the stock airbox and run a high flow filter with a custom piping connecting from the throttle body to the box. Ksport gave me an ETA time of one month till there product comes out for our cars so look forward to that mod. And yea i am just rambling cus im bored.

Seeing as how the performance mods are limited at the time, i would (and am) focusing more on looks. Cleaning out the engine bay and painting some key parts really makes it stand out. If i remember right someone here put an underbody light kit on their car, its a little too much (my opinion) but it definatly make it unique. Heh save up some bucks and do something crazy like reverse butterfly doors! :P

When the bank doesnt own my car anymore, then I will be more active in modding. Right now, its only cosmetic and reversable mods.

Here'swhere I get my LEDs from.

some of my mods I am planning in the future are: suicide doors, the Cool Can, and Killerglass.

I probably wont do all 3 of those, but those are some things I'm looking at. Unfortunately, I am moving very soon, so any potential mods have been put on hiatus. :crying:

Does the SE come with a rear sway bar?

EDIT: It says on the Hyundai USA website that it has a Rear Torsion Beam. I'm pretty sure those are two different things though.
It also says the SE comes with a stabilizer bar. Is that the sway bar?

I'm still not 100% on what a sway bar is. There are many confusing names that people commonly mix up and don't use properly. Like Sway Bar, Anti-Roll Bar, umm, I think that's it.

ok heres the low down

ALL 3gen Accents have a torsion beam...its like a rear axel in RWD cars and trucks..its a beam that connects the back wheels...so actually the rear end isnt an independant set up

and secondly a sway bar is the same as a stabilizer bar...it reduces the body roll of a vehicle..

and finally..i have a base model Accent..just modded out the **** (not as much as say Komptek's Accent)..but you get the idea lol
